Hub and spoke: how Peak’s AI platform gives you control while we handle the heavy lifting
By Parul Goyal on July 10, 2025Managing enterprise AI workloads brings familiar challenges: security requirements, compliance audits and the constant need to scale at speed.
Combine this with different data residency regulations and the demand for transparent cloud spending, and the complexity multiplies.
We built Peak’s AI platform around a hub and spoke model specifically to address these real-world challenges.
The architecture: your space, our expertise
The model works like a managed building where we handle central operations (the hub) while you maintain complete control over your dedicated space (your spoke).
Our hub serves as the central control plane. It’s where we orchestrate, monitor and manage the Peak platform. It’s where our AI capabilities are powered — but your data never passes through it.
Your spoke is your dedicated environment, residing in an AWS account that can either be yours or one that we manage on your behalf. Either way, your data remains isolated from all other Peak customers.

How does this benefit our customers?
Data residency and compliance
Your spoke can be deployed in any AWS region to meet geographic requirements. Whether you need data in Frankfurt for GDPR compliance or Singapore for performance optimization, the choice is yours. We understand that real-world compliance isn’t negotiable.
Multi-region support
Peak’s spoke instance can now be deployed in any AWS region easily. The spoke can be customer-managed or Peak-managed, depending on the customer’s requirements. This gives customers flexibility to get deploy Peak into their existing AWS accounts easily, whilst keeping the control of all of their workloads and data.
Independent scaling
Your spoke scales based on your needs without affecting other customers. Adding capacity or onboarding new teams happens within your isolated environment. Because we handle orchestration centrally, you can focus on using AI rather than managing infrastructure complexity.
Enterprise-grade security
Each spoke operates in complete isolation with its own IAM policies, network configurations and encryption settings. All communication between our hub and your spoke travels through AWS PrivateLink, ensuring private connectivity without touching the public internet.
Because we handle orchestration centrally, you can focus on using AI rather than managing infrastructure complexity.
Why hub and spoke matters
We designed this architecture based on the needs of real enterprise businesses. Organizations require control over their data and costs while still benefiting from sophisticated AI capabilities that don’t require specialized infrastructure expertise.
Our hub and spoke model allows us to deliver powerful AI functionality while you maintain the control and flexibility your business demands. It’s an approach that acknowledges the realities of enterprise IT — a world where compliance, security and cost transparency aren’t optional but fundamental.
