Howdens are on a digital transformation journey. In recent years, the company has moved from a completely paper based system to a Powerapps-based Lead Management tool. The next step in this journey is to introduce contemporary technologies that will power data-driven decision-making within the Marketing & Sales functions, with a focus on reducing churn and maximising revenue.

Howdens spends a lot of time and resources acquiring new customers; now you want to get smarter with how you keep them. It is critical this is done by augmenting the intelligence of the sales force. The ultimate goal is to use Decision Intelligence technology to make BDMs lives’ easier. This means removing the need to look at five different systems, consolidating workloads, saving time and enriching conversations with customers by suggesting the topic of conversation, retaining the crucial human element that makes the Howdens’ customer experience what it is today.

July · Discovery sessions with Lincoln
· Depot Visit to gain understanding of how Howdens can turn insight into action
· Peak to ingest a subset of Howdens Data for review
· Introduction to legal to open contractual discussions
August · Establishment of hard metrics to measure against; customers who don’t establish and customers who exit
· Technical due diligence with Aqil and team
· End of August – 1st draft proposal to Andy G and Paul B
September · Mid September – final run through of proposal with any amendments to Andy G and Paul B
· End of September – final sign off curry with Andy Witts, Paul, and Andy
October · Project kick off
